Embedded Systems iRobot

Iowa State's CprE 288 course, embedded systems, final project with to work with a team to program a robot to be able to run blindly through a maze. The objective of this final project was to use previous lab and lecture concepts together. We programmed the robots micro-controller in C, and demonstrated many concepts such as button reading, distance measurements through sonar and infra-red, and servo control. The steps of the project was to first design the program to report data to the user (over Bluetooth) after it scanned the maze. The next step would be to have the user calculate the appropriate decisions to get through the maze with the given data. The last step was the make the robot autonomous, where the robot makes the movements to get through the maze by itself.
